Holmen's Kornfest Run and Breakfast set for Aug. 16-17

Get ready to travel through time at the Kornfest Fun Run: Dashing Through The Decades! Join us Saturday, Aug. 16, in Holmen for a nostalgic run celebrating the best of every era.

The run is the the Holmen Knights of Columbus largest annual fundraiser, providing help to people in need in the La Crosse, Onalaska and Holmen area.

Events include a 10K-run, a two-mile-run and a noncompetitive walk. Races start at 8 a.m.

Entry fee (card payment only):

$10: ages 0-13$30: ages 13 and older

Everyone receives a T-shirt with their registration (sizes are first come first-served). First-, second-, and third-place medals will be given to the overall winners for both male and female for both two-mile and 10K finishers in the your age category.

The Holmen Knightsl Kornfest breakfast is Sunday, Aug. 17. It goes from 7 a.m. to noon at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, right across from the Holmen Middle School. Everyone is welcome to enjoy our biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausauge, toast, and beverages, including coffee, milk and orange juice.

Cost is $10 for 11 and older, $5 for children 6 to 10, and free to those 5 and younger. Carryouts are available. See Facebook page for more info.
