MANILA, Philippines -- San Juan City has inaugurated its new National Government Center with the unveiling of markers across the six-story facility.
Mayor Francis Zamora, Rep. Bel Zamora, Vice Mayor Angelo Agcaoili, and members of the City Council led the opening ceremonies at the Makabagong San Juan Theater on the building's fourth floor.
The Makabagong San Juan National Government Center houses national government agencies, including the Bagong Pilipinas eGovPH Serbisyo Hub.
The building features 15 office units on each of the first three floors, a barangay hall for St. Joseph, and an air-conditioned wooden basketball court for sports and community events.
The centerpiece of the building is the state-of-the-art Makabagong San Juan Theater, which has 876 seats, retractable curtains, a professional sound system, and two dressing rooms.

"This is another legacy project that reflects our vision of a Makabagong San Juan -- a city where government services are centralized, modern, and truly within reach for every San Juaneño," Mayor Zamora said.
