Gautham Rajendar's side went back to the top of the Premier One table last weekend after victory over Broadstone and with Poole being docked points.
Poole's 10 point deduction comes after their title clash with Dorchester was abandoned due to a dangerous pitch.
Therefore Dorchester will be looking to keep their good form going when the visit Wimborne at the Leaze on Saturday (12.30pm).
The last time the two sides faced each other it was Ben Brigden's Wimborne that came out on top in the first pink ball match of the season.
Dorchester had put their opponents into bat first and were set a target of 191 to win courtesy of an impressive 60 n/o off 58 balls by Yatin Ramesh.
But an impressive bowling display by Henry Taylor (5-31) saw Dorchester fall short by 11 runs in the chase as they were bowled out with three balls to go.
Prior to that the two sides had faced each other in the 110 declaration format which Dorchester came out on top in thanks to a three wicket win.
Rajendar knows it will be another tough game but believes his sides good form can help them secure victory.
Speaking to the Echo, he said: "Last round of fixtures to go and we've both won and lost one against each other.
"We're expecting a tough game against Wimborne. Hopefully we're able to keep up the momentum from last week."
On Sunday, Dorchester will then pick up the bat again as they travel to West Sussex to take part in the Vitality Club 20 Area Finals Day.
The Dorset club have been drawn against Banbury in the semi final at Three Bridges Cricket Club in Crawley (1pm).
The victors will then face the winners of Three Bridges CC and Havant CC for the title and a spot in the Regional Finals Day.
Rajendar said the team will look to enjoy the day and has not put any pressure on his side to lift the trophy.
He added: "Back end of the season and we'd like to make the most of making it to this round of the T20 comp. We're going to try and enjoy it as much as we can."
