Crystal Palace have confirmed that Colombian international Daniel Muñoz will wear the No. 2 shirt for the upcoming 2025/26 Premier League season.

Muñoz joined Palace in January 2024 from Genk and has quickly established himself as a key figure in the Eagles' defence. Known for his energy, overlapping runs and fierce commitment, the 29-year-old has already become a fan favourite at Selhurst Park.

The number two shirt has traditionally been worn by full-backs, and the switch is likely a reflection of Muñoz's status as first-choice right-back heading into the new campaign under manager Oliver Glasner.

Palace fans will get their first look at Muñoz in his new number when the team completes their pre-season preparations ahead of the Premier League's return in mid-August.
