Big Names Coming to Lake Charles Stages in September

Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - As the month changes over to September, it's time for a fresh look at some of the concerts that are coming to the Southwest Louisiana area this month. We've got the full list of concerts in the Lake Area all in one place.

We are lucky here in the Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana area to have so many major venues that feature major artists. Whether it's the Golden Nugget, L'Auberge, Southlake Theater, Coushatta Casino Resort, or now the Lake Charles Event Center.

Of course, with football season, now the McNeese Cowboy Block Parties are back and are ABSOLUTELY FREE on Friday Nights before game night. The first block party of the year was on August 30th and featured Wayne Toups, and it was PACKED OUT! McNeese only has one home game here in September, but it is going to be a huge party with the Molly Ringwalds.
