OXFORD -- Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin won another recruiting battle in the 2026 class.

Jett Goldsberry committed to Ole Miss on July 7. He is 6-foot, 195-pound three-star safety from Lincoln City, Indiana. Goldsberry is the No. 730 player in the 247Sports composite rankings and the No. 6 player in Indiana. He will likely settle into a role on defense as a defensive back after starring at Heritage Hills High School.

The Rebels beat North Carolina, Wake Forest, Rutgers, Purdue and others in the recruiting battle.

Goldsberry is a versatile athlete. He passed for 1,807 yards and 26 touchdowns in 2024 as a junior for Heritage Hills. He also rushed for 1,676 yards and 28 touchdowns. He racked up 58 tackles on defense as a defensive back and also handled some punting duties. He is also a wrestler.

Ole Miss is up to 13 commitments in the 2026 class. Four four-star prospects -- running back Damarius Yates, tight end JC Anderson, linebacker Izayia Williams and edge rusher Landon Barnes -- highlight the field.
